The Selection Committee will review all applications. Students will be notified via email within a few weeks if they are selected for an initial interview. Final decisions will be shared by late May.

Overview
Scholarship awards range from $2,500 - $5,000 each.
✅ Eligibility:
✔️ High school seniors in select Connecticut towns
✔️ Parent(s) and/or grandparent(s) were born in any of the recognized Latin American Spanish-speaking countries
✔️ Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
✔️ Plan to enroll in a U.S. college or university
✔️ U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA-approved
📌 Required Documents:
📄 IRS 1040 Forms (first 2 pages only)
📄 High school transcripts (unofficial copies accepted)
📄 Two letters of recommendation
📄 1-2 page personal essay
What to Expect

Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

All applications will need to be submitted March 31, 2025 by 11:59 PM.

Applications will be evaluated by the Selection Committee and interviews are required for selected participants.

Please Note: Volunteering, Donating and General Participation in the Latino Scholarship Fund, Inc. does not increase chances for scholarship awards. All awards are based on the application process and Selection Committee's evaluation of each candidate.

If selected for an interview, you will receive an e-mail to move forward with an interview.

If you receive a scholarship, you will be required to attend the Annual Gala on July 19, 2025.
